My trip to San Diego wouldn’t be complete if I was this close to the border and didn’t have Mexican food, right?
Tonight I picked up dinner from Pokez, a vegan/vegetarian Mexican restaurant) and was able to overlook the rude customer service (Which apparently, according the reviews on Yelp, I’m, not the only one who has experienced rude and inattentive staff) because of the amazing food.
Tofu fajitas: sauteed strips of tofu, with tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms and onions. With guacamole, salsa fresca, limes, rice, beans and corn tortillas, sans sour cream.
