Even though they take two hours to bake, don’t let that scare you: these baked apple chip are beyond easy. With a light cinnamon sugar dusting, a great sweet healthy treat when your craving a sweet treat!
Ingredients:
- 3 small gala apples, cored and thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200º.
- Core small gala apples using an apple corer and thinly slice.
- Place apples on baking sheet with silicone mat or wax paper underneath for easy cleanup.
- Mix sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle the top of the apples with the cinnamon sugar mixture. {keep in mind you do not have to use all of it}
- Bake fore 1 hour. Flip apples over.
- Bake for an additional hour. Remove from oven and let rest. Serve when ready.
