2 tablespoons hemp seeds
1 cup unsweetened nondairy milk
1/2 cup strawberries
1 banana, chopped and frozen overnight
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
1. Put the hemp seeds and milk into blender (or into bowl if you’re using a hand blender) and allow seeds to soak and soften for 1-2 minutes. 2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until it reaches a smoothie-like, drinkable consistency. This smoothie contains roughly 17 grams of protein.

1 ripe banana
1 tablespoon organic hemp protein
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 tablespoon unsweetened nondairy milk (I use almond)
1 tablespoon nut butter (I used almond butter)
1 tablespoon vegan semi sweet chocolate chips, optional
1. In a small bowl, mash the banana with a fork. Add the hemp protein and cocoa powder stirring in between each.
2. Stir in the milk and the nut butter. Add the chocolate chips, if using, and ta-da!
